My name is Tilak Baviskar. I am
from Maharashtra, India. To be precise, from Warshi, a small place in Dhule
district (A slightly unknown district in Maharashtra, sadly enough!). Currently, I am taking a graduate program
at Keck Graduate Institute (Claremont, CA) which is the USA’s
first school devoted to applied biosciences. This masters program is a balanced mix of science, business
and management. The very interdisciplinary nature of the program gives the
right skills, insights and experience to succeed in the biopharmaceutical industry.
A strong academic background in Pharmaceutical
sciences (6 yrs), and a significant experience as a bioinformatics professional,
was a perfect launchpad for this program. Having had an
intensive training in Pharma. Sciences, I believe that this industry-oriented
training would help broaden my career options. Here, You
will know more about me, my hobbies
and interests. Dr. Mashelkar, the CEO of CSIR (Center for Scientific and Industrial
Research in India) is my favorite hero. He has got special importance in my homepage. I
urge you all to go through his interview (taken with due thanks from eth.net). He has
been my fervor for Patriotism. His unparalled optimism should be the real drive
for all of us.
